Ajay's Art Foundation Children’s Course has been revamped to complement an ever changing market and to offer an exciting syllabus for Children aged 6 to 8 and aged 9 to 13. All projects are conducive to training the child’s mind in all the fundamentals of art, including blocking and drawing, proportioning, tonal values, hand-eye co-ordination and composition. They will learn to concentrate and have FUN!
They will learn how to use colour, pencil and charcoal, pastels and paints, mixed media and sculpture.
A specific curriculum has been formulated for them to maximize their potential. To this I have added manga, sculpture, cartoons and comic strips to heighten their interest level.
Problem areas such as blending and composition are dealt with early on and regularly to ensure success.

Dear Parent
We’d like to take this opportunity to inform you of our new syllabus and training changes as of 2010.
Our rotation method of teaching will be as follows:
Drawing skills to Painting to Mixed Media to Manga and Cartoon to Sculpture then back to Drawing and so on.
The biggest change will be that of change in quality. To achieve this objective, two processes will be devotedly employed – that of concentration and involvement without interference.
Therefore we kindly request the following:
1. The importance of leaving at home or switching off cell phones or any other devices of such nature during class.
2. The student CANNOT be taught correctly if accompanied by another person as this detracts from our teaching methods and their concentration.
3. The new syllabus has a very definitive structure and choice of art work that will be solely be determined by us without consultation or preference from parents. The student will be presented with certain options that will be decided upon student and teacher. From time to time students will be allowed to choose their own work but will remain within the capability and expediency limitations decided and set by us.
4. Proper processes and effort in art making will ensure quality to any art work. Therefore the student must not be pressured to complete a work of art quickly as it negates appropriate development and discourages creative thought.
5. Please remember that missed classes cannot be made up.
